About Us

LCY Designs was established in Orange County, California in 1984. Designer, Laura Yorba, has worked in all styles from Traditional to Transitional to Contemporary and beyond. Some of the projects she has worked on include a 100 year old house in Virginia to a Spanish bungalow in Joshua Tree to a Contemporary in Fullerton's Coyote Hills and an eye care specialist in Old Town Orange. The firm does very little advertising, working mostly from client referrals.

LCY Designs specializes in all phases of the construction process for both commercial and residential clients. Our "start-to-finish" approach includes interior space planning, construction drawings, selection of furnishings, floor coverings and wall finishes. We help by providing direction, guidance, and access to our vast resources.

Laura Yorba has been involved in the design industry for almost 20 years and holds a BFA degree in Interior Design from California State University of Long Beach and an AA Degree from Fullerton College. The last six years have been in high end residential remodels and construction, and light commercial design. She have also worked in the model home industry designing award winning sales offices and continues to design various high end model home projects.

Laura Yorba is an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), a member of National Kitchen and Bath Association and Associate International Interior Design Association.

In addition to running her business, Laura has participated in the Philharmonic Society House of Design in 2007, Co-Chaired the Philharmonic House of Design in 2008, Chaired the 2009 ASID Design Tour and redesigned  the Fullerton Interfaith Emergency Services shelter  in 2006 and the VIP Adult Day Care Center in both Santa Ana and Anaheim, in 2007 /2008.  Her work as been published in Orange County Home Magazine and Orange Coast magazine.
